OAUW 21ST ANNUAL RACE FOR THE LIGHT 5K MOVES TO THE EAA GROUNDS

Runners and walkers are invited to register for the 21st Annual Race for the Light 5K Fun Run. The family-friendly event, hosted by the Oshkosh Area United Way (OAUW), will be held at the EAA Grounds on Saturday, December 2. Proceeds benefit the OAUW mission.

Race check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. in front of the EAA Youth Education Center at 3000 Poberezny Road. The 5K Fun Run starts promptly at 4:30 p.m. and the course will take you through the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights on the EAA Grounds.

“We are thankful to the staff at EAA for generously allowing us to use their grounds for our race this year,” said Beth Oswald, OAUW President and CEO. “The Race for the Light has been a tradition for hundreds of families from Oshkosh and the surrounding area.”

The registration fee of $35 includes a race T-shirt a set of jingly, jingle bells, a dose of holiday spirit, and serious kudos for wearing an ugly holiday sweater or fun costume. To guarantee a T-shirt, please register by November 12. For information on race and parking details and to register visit oshkoshunitedway.org/raceforthelight.
