Oshkosh Area United Way (OAUW) invites golfers and community members to make an impact, one swing at a time, at the 16th Annual Golf to Give Outing on Wednesday, June 4, at Westhaven Golf Club in Oshkosh.
More than just a day on the course, this annual event helps power local solutions that open doors for children and youth. Proceeds from the event will support two of OAUW’s key education programs: Growing Readers, which offers personalized tutoring for 3rd-5th graders, and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which provides free monthly books to children from birth to age five.
“Golf to Give is about more than a great game; it is about coming together to create brighter futures for the next generation,” said Beth Oswald, President & CEO of Oshkosh Area United Way. “Every drive, every putt, and every sponsor helps move the needle for local youth. Together, we’re creating opportunities that help kids thrive—on and off the course.”
The day begins at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast and player check-in, followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Golfers will enjoy a scenic round of golf, lunch, and a post-event celebration featuring food, raffles, prizes, and more.
Registration is open now through May 29 at oshkoshunitedway.org/golf. Individual golfers and foursomes are welcome, but spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Businesses interested in supporting the event can email oauw@oshkoshunitedway.org or call 920-235-8560.
