Saying Goodbye to 2018: A Year in Review

It's been a busy year here at Oshkosh Area United Way! As we prepare for 2019, we'd like to recognize some of the accomplishments and changes we went through for 2018. Here are just a few highlights from this year.


  • Initiated the texting platform in our area- Text your zip code to 898-211 if you would like assistance via text message

Day of Caring

  • 140 volunteers
  • 21 companies represented
  • 27 projects for 16 local non-profit agencies
  • Collective total of 560 hours of service

Oshkosh and Winneconne Community Back to School Fair

  • Joined 23 area partners at this event to provide:
  • 1002 children from 423 families with school supplies
  • Value of $221 per child

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

  • 12,057 books sent/ children enrolled throughout the year
  • Average of 1,004 children per month
