Take control of prescription costs.
More than 138 million Americans are uninsured or underinsured. 71% of people who cannot afford medications come from working families.
Oshkosh Area United Way and the FamilyWize Community Service Partnership are improving access to affordable prescription medications through a free, easy-to-use prescription discount card. The FamilyWize prescription card gives individuals and families access to discounts on prescription drugs, allowing them to save an average of around 45 percent on their medications. The FamilyWize program is free, has no eligibility requirements, and provides access to medications at an affordable cost. Over 13 million Americans have saved more than $1.5 billion on their prescriptions.
In Winnebago County alone, more than $427,442.80 has been saved by approximately 4,477 residents as a result of people using the card at local pharmacies.*
