Girl Scout Leaders Needed

Girl Scout’s mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. I believe that there is no more important mission in this world, and I am proud to say I am a part of it!  I hope others will feel the same way and consider becoming a Girl Scout leader.

There are so many girls looking for troops right here in our community. So many girls who want the chance to make a difference, have fun, and make some lasting friendship but we don’t have enough leaders. We need adult who want to be Girl Scouts – adults who want help girls be everything they dream of. Do you have a few hours a month to help? I think you do. Everyone is busy. But I think everyone can make time to help a child. Becoming a Girl Scout volunteer is the perfect way.

Right now, specifically, Girls in grades K-5 are waiting for troop leaders at Jefferson Elementary, Merrill Elementary, Read Elementary, and Smith Elementary right in Oshkosh, and there are other local volunteers needed as well. If this is something you would be interested in, I would encourage you to contact the Girl Scout Council at 888.747.6945.
