The Green Bay Press-Gazette, Appleton Post-Crescent and Oshkosh Northwestern are launching the 2017 Dollars for Diapers campaign:

"Dollars for Diapers is a diaper drive and fundraiser undertaken in partnership with Kimberly-Clark Corp. It collects diapers and other baby supplies, as well as money to be distributed to local United Ways and their partnering agencies to help low-income families across northeastern Wisconsin keep babies happy, healthy and in fresh diapers.

From the 2016 Dollars for Diapers campaign:

"Right here, in our very own communities, diaper need is a low-level health crisis. Babies left in wet diapers can experience severe rashes and urinary tract infections. Programs like food stamps and WIC don’t pay for diapers, and families need them to enroll their children into day care. When parents have to stay home instead of working, the cycle of poverty continues."
